Iman Alleyne

Founder and Director

Ms. Iman has worked with children most of her life and after teaching Special Education in Public schools decided she wanted to create a program that would work for all learners. She earned her Master's in School Counseling in 2013 and is certified in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Guidance Counseling. She is currently the Assistant Principal at a Nature Based Elementary School in Fort Lauderdale that she helped to start.

Tamiko Williams

Dance and StoryTime Instructor 

Ms. Tamiko brings her background in dance, music, and her love for nature to our programs. She is the mom of two amazing daughters who have attended Kind since 2017.

Ms. Tamiko also brings her knowledge of Community Engagement to our team and has a goal to help get as many children outside as possible.

Bess Perry-Garcia 

Sensory Art and Photography Instructor

Ms. Bess brings her many years as a K-5 Art Teacher and background knowledge as a Lifestyle Photographer to Kind Academy. She currently homeschools her two daughters and loves being able to improve our curriculum with amazing art projects and eye catching set ups.

Andrea Hantmann 

Patuque & Sensory Instructor

Ms. Andrea has been an Instructor for over 6 years. Her background in Child Development allows her to create lessons that are fun for the under 5 crowds, engaging, and high energy. She loves to get the kids dancing and loves messy play!

Jamaal Alleyne

Architectural Design and Shop Class Instructor

Mr. A as his students call him fell in love with carpentry during his first shop class in Middle School. For over 30 years he has learned all there is to know about woodwork, architecture, and interior design. He also teaches 3D Rendering and Lego Stop Motion Animation classes for homeschool students at our academy.
