Cancellation Policy

1. **Scheduling & Cancellations**: - Parents have the flexibility to cancel with **24 hours of notice**. Please request it via the Wix platform - Should you need to reschedule, please find a time agreeable to both parties. - you and your teacher 2. **Teacher No-Show**: - If your teacher doesn’t show up for the scheduled session, please message them via your classroom. This might indicate a technical glitch or an unforeseen issue in your classroom. 3. **Communication**: - All communication between teachers and learners should be through the learner's classroom. 4. **Session Duration & Frequency**: - Each session lasts **55 minutes**. The last 5 minutes are dedicated to notating your learner's progress. Kind Academy Online 6. **Holidays & Breaks**: - We do not observe regular holiday breaks. If you need a break, please email **hello@kindacademy.org** at least 7 days in advance. 7. **Punctuality**: - The scheduled hour belongs to the learner. If the learner is late, the session will still end at the scheduled time. - If guides are late, they will make up the time during another session. If guides miss a session, it will be rescheduled promptly at a mutually convenient time. 8. **Introductory Week**: - The first week is designed for guides to get to know the learner better and to initiate a battery of assessments in reading, language arts, and math. - **Cash Pay Families**: You will be billed monthly or by package, in advance of the tutoring sessions. You are responsible for paying before sessions. - **Scholarship FES-UA and FES-PEP Families Please reserve your tuition amount for each upcoming month via EMA. To cancel your program, please notify us by emailing **hello@kindacademy.org** within 30 days. You are still responsible for that month of tuition. No refunds will be given.
